I was out jogging along the Union canal yesterday, what with it being a nice day and me needing the exercise. I brought my camera and took a few pictures. I'm constantly surprised by the amount of life and activity on the canal. There's two rowing clubs, kayakers, longboats... even a floating restaurant.
Mostly, however, there are ducks. It being spring, they're all being cutesy and couple-y. And doing things that ducks are wont to do at such times. Luckily for you, I didn't manage to get any pictures of that sort of thing. Here are some nice ones, though.

Edit: Also, perhaps somebody on my friends list (not naming names or anything) might like a cutesy duck icon?
I could put writing on it and everything.
Edit #2: and by "yesterday" I of course meant the day before yesterday. 8^S

I told you they hold each other under water.
And that last picture? That's what the boy duck does right afterwards. It's the duck equivalent of rolling over and farting.

I'll need to take a walk along the canal too some time. Very handily, it runs right by my house. The arrival of winter kind of intervened, but like you say, its summer or spring, or something, again.
