"Morrisons" have appeared to have taken over Safeway. This is the first I've heard about it. In fact, this is the first I've heard of Morrisons. Not that I'm complaining. I've just been shopping in the Safeway (soon to be Morrisons) down the road, and come out with a shopping basket entirely filled with Morrisons own-brand products. They've managed to undercut Scotmid prices on every item, which is really quite impressive.

That is all.

Yeah, but unfortunately they've slashed the number of lines carried, so that I now have to shop elsewhere for some things. And their muffins suck.

I think their main postive effect is strong carrier bags.

I lived out of Morrisons when I was a student in Bradford. The best thing about them is cheap mead. Drinkable cheap mead. And I've been to the one at the Gyle to check, and they still do it!

Yup, mum's mostly stopped shopping there now because they don't do the things Steven likes anymore. (He's a bit picky at times...)

Yer, and my parents hate it; in their smalltown Safeway Morrisons, most of their favourite brands have been cut out of the line-up, or put up in price. >> Oh well, it's encouraging them to shop down the High Street more often. XD
