Just finished Watchmen by Alan Moore. The setting is an alternate universe where superheroes have become reality rather than fiction... but can caped crusaders cope with a world in which the greatest danger is not a masked supervillain, but rather the escalating threat of the Cold War?

Is glorious. Thought-provoking, genre-transcending. spudtater-recommended!
