I was doing a Google search on "Edonian" when I stumbled across this article:

Guidance for wannabe conspiracy nuts: start off with assumptions that would make a classical scholar weep...

Then bear in mind that linguistic similarity is proof positive of a traceable theme:

Throw in some rabid paranoia:

Moreover, there have been, and still are, families of occult bent that likewise secretly know their ties to the Gorgon bloodlines, and they want to rule over us by force because they are conditioned by their elders to believe that their dragon bloodline has right to a supreme throne on earth.'

When you don't know whodunnit, blame the Illuminati (secret society do exist:)

Finally, bear in mind that any sane person who has got this far through your article is a threat to your theories. (They might ask for "proof" or pull other academic tricks). Make their heads asplode with an argument like this one:

They missed a perfect opportunity to start babbling about Rosslyn Chapel (which is in the same village as the Roslin Institute) and Knights Templar and all that nonsense. No true conspiracy theorist could possibly have missed an opportunity to do that.

I was particularly amused by one of his other chapters where he starts criticising other conspiracy theories that are too wild even for him:

You may have heard about post-tribulation groups which are now proposing Prince Charles of Wales (former husband of Princess Diana) as the anti-Christ. As their proof, they cite certain animals and such on his coat of arms that happen to be in Biblical prophecy (silly, isn't it?). They also tie Britain and Rabin (assassinated Israeli Prime Minister) into Daniel's prophecies solely with play-on-words evidence. These groups had announced the beginning of the seven-year tribulation for September of 1993, with the Abomination predicted for March of 1997. Now that nothing resembling the Abomination has taken place in 1997 (although they had claimed that it did), they have moved their dates forward rather than to succumb to humiliation.

The idea of Prince Charles as the anti-Christ does seem a bit incongruous.

Yes, people using arguments of reasonableness against other people but having a blind spot as to how they could apply to their own ideas is quite a mad thing to see. Reminds me of the christian fundamentalist with a page on his site about "counter-arguments to use against muslims"¹, almost every one of which could apply to the arguments he used on his own site to promote his own sky-fairy.²

[1] Mostly standard arguments of logic, such as "using the koran to prove things about allah and then invoking allah to validate the koran is a circular argument, and constitutes a logical fallacy".
